We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, enthusiastic and highly specialized Cardiac Physiologist/Clinical Scientist to lead and develop our CRM and Invasive service here at UHCW Trust.
UHCW is one of the largest acute Trusts in the country. With 17 Cardiology Consultants, we provide world class innovation and research in all aspects of Cardiology.
The post holder will report to the Head of Cardiac Investigations Department, and be responsible for managing a team of Cardiac Physiologists, as well as supporting the training needs of junior physiologists and specialist registrars.
Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
Key Responsibilities
* Work independently as a highly specialist practitioner across the range of CRM devices and invasive procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
* Actively contribute to service developments and expansion.
* Manage a team of Cardiac Physiologists, participate in appraisals and work to achieve agreed set objectives.
* Ensure relevant accreditation is maintained for self and team.
