At Wood Street, our supported living service, we provide accommodation and support for people facing challenges such as dual diagnoses, histories of substance use, and forensic backgrounds. If you’re enthusiastic about empowering others to gain the skills they need to live independently, this role is for you!
As a Team Leader at Turning Point, you’ll work closely with individuals to help them reach their full potential. You’ll be part of a supportive team and have opportunities for growth and development in your career.
Your Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will:
* Collaborate with the Service Manager to develop and enhance our service.
* Provide line management to a dedicated team of Recovery Workers.
* Ensure we meet and exceed outcomes and quality standards that promote independence and recovery.
* Oversee referrals and work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for those we support.
Are You the Ideal Candidate?
We’re looking for someone with:
* A background in coordinating support for vulnerable individuals in the community.
* Experience in service planning and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
* A solid understanding of mental health needs, with experience in dual-diagnoses being a plus.
* A person-centered approach and the ability to prioritize your workload effectively.
* Strong communication skills, a flexible recovery-focused mindset, and a positive attitude.
