Job Description:


Overall job purpose

To support the wider team and assist managers in delivering work across a portfolio of corporate clients, focusing on complex financial reporting and consolidations, while managing a small portfolio of corporate and not-for-profit clients and working with a team of staff to ensure the highest standards of client service.

Responsibilities

* Act as the day-to-day point of contact for clients, practicing excellent client service at all times.
* Manage a small portfolio of corporate clients within the internal budget, addressing any material points on assignments with the team.
* Plan assignments according to the firm’s procedures, confirming arrangements with clients, including costs and billing.
* Provide ongoing feedback to junior team members.
* Develop and maintain advanced technical knowledge through reading and courses, fulfilling CPD requirements, and staying aware of the firm’s services and publications.
* Ensure assignments are carried out according to instructions, efficiently and thoroughly, following firm procedures.
* Provide briefing, supervision, and training for junior staff, reviewing their work for adequacy and completeness.
* Perform any other duties within the scope of the role as requested by the line manager or partners.
* ACA / ACCA fully qualified.
* Strong understanding of UK financial reporting requirements.
* Experience with complex consolidations.
* Ability to demonstrate commercial awareness and add value.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Good understanding of CCH AP, Microsoft Word & Excel, and Sage Line 50.
* Working knowledge of Corporate Taxation.
