Search are supporting the recruitment of a Senior Finance Manager to lead our client's Finance function in Edinburgh on a part-time basis (3 days) with hybrid working. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a pivotal leadership role offering the chance to shape financial strategy, ensure robust governance and contribute to the long-term sustainability of a dynamic and values-driven organisation. Your responsibilities will include: * Oversee all day-to-day financial operations, including cashflow, banking and reporting * Lead the month-end process and produce management accounts with variance analysis * Manage budget planning, forecasting, and financial reporting for senior leadership and Board * Ensure compliance with financial controls, VAT returns, and audit requirements * Line manage the Finance team and support payroll and pension processes * Prepare year-end accounts and liaise with auditors * Develop financial policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency * Support funding applications and reporting, including financial modelling * Oversee insurance, licensing, and legal compliance * Actively contribute to Senior Management meetings and Board reporting Skills and experience that will benefit your application: * A fully or part-qualified accountant * Experience in a similar roles within Finance functions * Proficient in accounting systems, payroll systems, and advanced Excel * A confident communicator able to engage internal and external stakeholders * Comfortable working independently and collaboratively as part of a leadership team * Demonstrable leadership and managerial experience What's in it for you: * A salary range of £40,000 - £45,000 (full-time equivalent) * Hybrid and flexible working options * Generous leave allowance * Supportive culture If you'd like to apply or find out more, please submit your CV at the earliest opportunity and/or get in touch at (url removed).
