Department Description: Exciting opportunity to provide new models of care for walk-in/urgent care access including days, evenings and weekends. The new CHA CBHC Cambridge and Malden program provides behavioral health evaluation, resource referral, and initial treatment services for individuals of all ages.
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for providing patient care in accordance with established Nursing Standards of Care. The RN demonstrates initiative, knowledge and clinical skills in caring for patients with complex needs. The Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to effectively manage patients by assuming full responsibility for the assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation of nursing care and directly reports to a designated nurse manager and/or clinical manager / off shift manager.
Qualifications:
* BSN preferred
* Current MA RN Licensure
* Current AHA (American Heart Association) or ARC (American Red Cross) BLS Provider Certification required
* Interest or experience in mental health, acute services, and/or substance use disorders preferred
* Portuguese, Spanish, or Haitian Creole-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply
