In this role you will work within multi-disciplined Engineering teams to deliver innovative design solutions for new concepts & customisation of existing products for customers across the globe, ensuring delivery to cost, time, quality & adherence to regulations and suitability for manufacturing. Responsibilities Carrying out electrical design for project's Supporting prototyping for new projects considering the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints. Creating relevant documentation, such as Test Plans and Reports for electrical testing Supporting customer meetings as required. Providing end to end support on an electrical basis throughout the lifecycle of projects. Supporting change management through research, concepts, design reviews, trade studies, impact analysis and implementation. What the successful candidate will have: Hold a relevant Degree/Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering or a minimum of 2 years working in an electrical engineering environment. Previous experience with one of the design software packages such as AutoCad, Pro E, Solidworks, Eplan etc Proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point & Access). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with Customers, manufacturing, suppliers and production. Results driven with a can-do attitude to ensure solutions.
