About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Damp and Mould Operative to join a reputable social housing provider on a temporary basis. This hands-on role focuses on the inspection, treatment, and repair of damp and mould issues across occupied residential properties.
Responsibilities
* Conduct damp and mould inspections in tenanted properties
* Diagnose and treat damp, mould, and condensation issues
* Carry out minor repairs including plastering, painting, and sealing
* Apply anti-mould treatments and redecoration works
* Liaise professionally with tenants and housing officers
* Keep accurate records of works carried out
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times
Requirements
* Proven experience in damp and mould remediation OR building maintenance
* Background in painting & decorating, plastering or general property repair
* Full UK Driving Licence (vehicle provided)
* Good communication and customer service skills
