1. Position: Production Supervisor
2. Salary: Circa £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
3. Location: Newhaven
4. Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday on rotating shifts of earlies 6.30am -3pm and lates 2.30pm-11.00pm

We’re looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join a well‑established manufacturing business during an exciting period of growth. The Production Supervisor will:
6. Oversee daily production activities, ensuring targets for output, quality, safety and delivery are consistently achieved
7. Lead, motivate and support production staff, setting clear objectives and expectations
8. Maintain high standards across the shop floor, ensuring PPE, Health & Safety and company policies are consistently followed
9. Support training, mentoring and development of new and existing employees
10. Plan and allocate staff to meet production schedules, monitoring progress and resolving issues to keep production running smoothly
11. Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards
12. Monitor raw materials and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels
13. Support continuous improvement activity, efficiency improvements and quality enhancement
Skills & Experience Required:
14. Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
15. Previous experience supervising, managing or leading a team
16. Competent using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and production reporting tools
17. Proactive, hands‑on approach with a strong drive for results
18. NVQ Level 3 in Supervisory Management (or equivalent)
19. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
