About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented experienced Tender Writer / Social Media Executive to join our team at our Wigan Head Office.
This dual role will involve writing and managing tender submissions to secure new business opportunities, while also developing and executing engaging social media strategies to enhance our brand presence and audience engagement.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys both creative and technical writing, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under deadlines.
Key ResponsibilitiesTender Writing
* Research, prepare, and write high-quality tender and bid submissions.
* Analyse tender requirements and coordinate responses from relevant departments.
* Develop persuasive, accurate, and tailored content that aligns with client specifications.
* Maintain a library of standard responses and supporting documents for future bids.
* Ensure all submissions meet deadlines and are delivered to a high professional standard.
Social Media Management
* Plan, create, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, etc.).
* Develop campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
* Monitor performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies accordingly.
* Keep up to date with social media trends and best practices to ensure maximum impact.
* Respond to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely and professional manner.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience in tender writing, bid writing, or similar role.
* Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to interpret technical information and present it clearly.
* Experience in social media content creation and management for a business.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media management/analytics tools.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
Desirable
* Knowledge of the [industry your company operates in – e.g., construction, healthcare, facilities management, etc.].
* Graphic design or content creation skills (Canva, Photoshop, or similar).
* Experience using bid management platforms or CRM systems.
