Full-Time Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join a dynamic and supportive Mental Health Team in Greenock. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Social Worker seeking a high-paying locum social work role within adult mental health services. If you are an SSSC-registered Social Worker with experience in community mental health, safeguarding, and multi-agency working, we would love to hear from you. The Role - Mental Health Social Worker As a Social Worker within the Mental Health Team, you will manage a varied caseload of adults experiencing complex mental health needs. You will play a key role in promoting recovery, independence, and positive outcomes while ensuring statutory duties are met. This position is ideal for professionals with experience in: Adult Mental Health Services Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) Care Act assessments Mental Health Act work Risk assessments and safeguarding adults Multi-disciplinary team working Key Responsibilities Undertake comprehensive social work assessments within adult mental health services Complete Care Act assessments and support planning Carry out risk assessments and safeguarding investigations Contribute to Mental Health Act processes where required Manage a complex caseload effectively and autonomously Work collaboratively with NHS professionals, housing services, and voluntary agencies Prepare reports and maintain accurate case records Requirements Qualified Social Worker (BA/MA Social Work or equivalent) Current SSSC registration Proven experience within a Mental Health Team or Community Mental Health setting Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including the Care Act and Mental Health Act Excellent assessment, communication, and report-writing skills Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment Why Work with Seven Resourcing?
