What You'll Be Doing
Working closely with an experienced site engineer you'll play a key role in day-to-day site operations, including:
1. Carrying out surveying and setting-out activities using modern equipment
2. Monitoring site conditions such as movement, vibration, noise and materials
3. Checking survey instrument calibration and keeping reference points intact
4. Inspecting works before cover-up or the next construction stage
5. Recording inspections, measurements and quality checks
6. Reviewing new drawings, spotting discrepancies and flagging them to the Site Manager
7. Supporting environmental and safety monitoring on site
8. Raising technical queries
