Hugo Meynell CofE (VC) Primary School is looking to fill the following vacancies: 2 x: Part-Time Teaching Assistant with Lunchtime Supervision Teaching Assistant Part Time, Fixed Term Contract to 31 st August 2027 Grade 4, Scale Point 6, Actual Salary £6,979.26 per annum 11.5 hours per week working 2.25 hours each afternoon Full time, whole year equivalent- £25,989 - £26,403, Term Time plus 5 Inset Days This position is temporary in the first instance for 12 months subject to SEN funding although there is a reasonable expectation the role may continue into the next academic year Lunchtime Supervisor Part Time, Fixed Term Contract to 31 st August 2027 Grade 2, Scale Point 4, Actual Salary £2,864.86 per annum 5 hours per week working 1 hour each day Full time, whole year equivalent salary- £25,185, Term Time Only This position is temporary in the first instance for 12 months subject to pupil numbers although there is a reasonable expectation the role may continue into the next academic year Start Date: 1 st September 2026 Local Government Pension Scheme These positions benefit from membership of the Local Governor Pension Scheme. Staffordshire County Council also make a generous employer contribution (currently 28.10%) for scheme members. Hugo Meynell Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our successful and truly inclusive school. We are looking for someone, who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of children. The successful candidate will hold pupil well-being at the centre of all they do; have good inter-personal skills; high standards and expectations, as well as an understanding of the challenges that can be faced by young pupils. You will be working alongside a dedicated and skilled team, to support children’s learning. This will include supporting individual children, groups in the class and also taking the lead in managing small groups of pupils for specific interventions as required.
