Job Title: Service Operations Manager
Location: Loughborough, LE11
Salary: 35k to 40k (DOE)
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Oversee the implementation of the site Health & Safety Policy, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
* Maintain confidentiality and update all relevant risk assessments for the Works function.
* Work closely with applicator companies to ensure the Customer Service function meets expectations.
* Train new staff and conduct staff appraisals at least annually.
* Manage all aspects of the budget, controlling costs proactively.
* Maintain and update the Bill of Materials accurately.
* Develop and maintain a routine maintenance program.
* Ensure operations comply with legislative and environmental standards, including the Pollution Prevention and Control Act.
* Maintain the company's EQMS requirements and participate in Quality Audits (BSI and BRE) as needed.
* Cover duties of the Customer Service Manager during absences.
* Proactively manage the Works function to respond to market demands.
* Respond to instructions and projects as directed by the Logistics Director.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Proficient in Sage 200
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
* Excellent organizational and planning skills
* Strong leadership and staff management abilities
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively
* On-site parking available
* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
