What will you be bringing to the team?
* Works with Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) basic processes and operations.
* Maintains item and inventory management records.
* Helps minimize bottlenecks and delays and the resulting impact on operating costs.
* Uses real-time inventory software, with guidance, to move supplies where needed, when needed.
* Assists in resolving issues related to physical space management.
* Performs the receiving, ticketing, checking in and distributing of inventory items for a specific location.
* Produces basic inventory management reports for senior staff to reconcile the inventory balances.
* Tracks inventory information for a specific product group or location.
* Works with basic tasks of inventory management for a specific location.
* Follows processes to take stock, release inventory or return into processing; resolves discrepancies.
* Uses tools, with guidance, to forecast delivery times, determine costs and assess performance.
* Works with logistics in a domestic environment.
* Maintains records of all shipments and invoices using an established system.
* Assists in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity.
* Participates in integrating logistics processes and developing effective networks.
* Recognizes software systems or components used to manage supply chain.
* Participates in supply chain analysis and uses it to spot trends and improvement opportunities.
* Discusses considerations for integrating partner and supplier transactions.
* Summarizes supply chain considerations for different types of products.
* Works with a specific part of supply chain management process.
* Analysis and documents key performance indicators of warehouse management in own area.
* Assists in implementing mechanization approaches and techniques in a distribution centre.
* Collects and translates the business requirements for specifications of warehouse management systems.
* Performs basic warehousing activities such as receiving, putting away, picking, packing and shipping merchandise.
* Maintains warehouse equipment and facilities on a regular basis
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
* 1-3 years' experience in Supply, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) such asERP oracle based systems
* Basic knowledge of safety protocols and equipment handling
* Good knowledge of English
