Transport Administrator
South Down | Full-time | £28,000 – £30,000 (DOE)
Our client, a well-established and growing business in the construction sector, is seeking a Transport Administrator to join their busy team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to play a key part in the smooth running of the transport department, ensuring efficient scheduling and delivery to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist the Transport Manager in planning and organising schedules and routes.
2. Monitor lead times and delivery targets, ensuring all vehicle deliveries are on time.
3. Liaise effectively with customers and drivers to coordinate logistics.
4. Handle customer enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
5. Maintain accurate transport documentation and records.
6. General administrative duties, including answering calls and updating systems.
Essential Criteria
7. Previous experience in an administration role.
8. Strong customer service and communication skills.
9. Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
10. Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Desirable Criteria
12. Previous experience in transport, logistics, or dispatch.

13. Salary in the region of £28,000 – £30,000, negotiable depending on experience.
