We're now seeking a reliable, organised, and detail-focused Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day housekeeping operations across guest rooms and public areas
* Manage and motivate the housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
* Train, support, and schedule housekeeping staff
* Use the hotel booking system to plan room servicing efficiently and communicate with reception about guest needs
* Order cleaning products, linens, and other housekeeping supplies, ensuring stock levels are well managed and cost-effective
* Carry out daily inspections to ensure rooms meet hotel standards before guest arrivals
* Work closely with reception and management to ensure smooth operations
* Step in hands-on when needed to support the team during busy periods
Requirements:
* Previous experience in housekeeping, ideally at supervisory or head housekeeper level
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
* Good organisational and leadership skills
* Confidence using booking systems and handling housekeeping admin
* Ability to manage stock levels and order products effectively
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexibility to work weekends and peak periods as required
