Legal Counsel 2+ (salary to £72k dependant on experience)

We're working with a growing private equity-backed technology business that's looking for a Legal Counsel to join its lean and collaborative legal team. The company offer data-led solutions and SaaS platforms to help modernise and simplify a complex sector.
This is a genuinely broad and engaging in-house role that would suit a commercially-minded lawyer who enjoys variety and wants to work closely with the business.
Location: Hybrid, Solihull
What you’ll be doing:
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial and tech contracts, including SaaS
* Advising on data protection, regulatory compliance and IP rights
* Supporting the business on risk, disputes and general legal queries
* Working closely with commercial and operational stakeholders
* Contributing to internal policy and governance
What we’re looking for:
* UK-qualified solicitor 2+
* Background in commercial contracts, ideally with exposure to SaaS or technology deals
* Comfortable advising on data privacy (UK GDPR) and intellectual property
* A proactive, clear communicator with a pragmatic approach
