Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Contracts Manager/ Contracts Director ensuring compliance with contract law, providing Project Management guidance on HVAC sites to ensure they are completed on time, to budgeted margin and in an efficient, professional manner to the Company’s and Customer’s satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage, mentor, develop and coach the PM staff in the execution of their duties.
* Identify early, analyse and develop responses to Contractual risks.
* Provide legal and contractual advice on claims
* Assist and support relevant departments with the monitoring of projects financially, ensuring that the final margin is maximised including, dispute resolution, issue and closing of final accounts for internal trading and final cash collection support as appropriate
* Oversee the workload within the PM Team and ensure commercial and project matters relating to all works allocated, are resolved in a timely manner
* Ensure the PM’s follow best practices and company procedures with regards to cost effective purchasing and delivery scheduling for materials, labour and/or equipment to site, to achieve or exceed the planned Project Margin, all in accordance with the ethical codes of purchasing.
* Support staff with all variations, so that they are expeditiously completed, and that interim and final accounts are regularly prepared, agreed with Customer and correctly invoiced.
About you:
Experience:
* Minimum 10-Years in a Senior Building Services Contract Management role.
* Team Leadership and Change Management experience.
* Strong people management skills (leads by example and respected for knowledge).
* Strong negotiation and teamwork skills.
Key skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrable knowledge and experience or a formal Qualification in Contract Law.
* Certified in Contract Management CPCM or similar.
* Full Driving License and the ability to Travel Internationally on company business
* Excellent time-management.
* Good IT skills and ability to use software e.g. MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
* Good presentation and communication skills (written and oral)
* Excellent people skills
* Demonstrable confidence under pressure
