Salary: Up to £55,000 + £6,000 bonus + Company car
Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our brand-new 4‑bed children's residential home in Camden, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is an exciting opportunity to join an established home.
The Role
As the Registered Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the operation, leadership, and development of the home, ensuring it meets Ofsted requirements and provides a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment. You'll be instrumental in creating a setting where children feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.
You’ll lead by example, building and motivating a skilled, trauma‑informed team and embedding a culture of respect, empathy, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
 * Oversee the day‑to‑day management of the 4‑bed home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations.
 * Safeguard and promote the welfare and well‑being of all children and young people in placement.
 * Recruit, develop, and support a committed and skilled staff team.
 * Build effective relationships with local authorities, families, and other professionals to ensure positive outcomes.
 * Maintain robust quality assurance systems, accurate reporting, and clear communication with stakeholders.
 * Drive continuous improvement, aiming for “Good” or “Outstanding” Ofsted inspection outcomes.
 * Contribute to the strategic growth and reputation of the organisation as a trusted provider of high‑quality care.
About You
 * Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within a children's residential setting.
 * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
 * Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted frameworks.
 * Experience working with young people who have EBD, LD, and complex needs.
 * Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team to achieve excellence.
 * A confident communicator with strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
 * A genuine passion for improving the lives and futures of children and young people.
