HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT DIVISION

CAMPUS RECRUITING

The Campus Recruiting team identifies, attracts, and recruits undergraduates and experienced professionals to the firm. The team also manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high calibre, diverse and robust candidate pipeline for both campus and experienced hire recruiting. Our graduate recruiting team sources strong and diverse talent for our global internship programme and full-time campus classes through relationship building with key university stakeholders and high-impact campus events.


RESPONSIBILITIES

1. End to end project management of key recruitment pipelines across our EMEA offices, including attraction, hiring processes and ongoing candidate management
2. Design, develop and deliver on FICC & Equities junior recruiting marketing, events and attraction strategy across EMEA (. insight events, academic partnerships, digital engagement etc), travelling across multiple countries where required
3. Build relationships with key recruiting contacts and senior stakeholders within the business and partner with them on recruiting strategies and business plans
4. Manage planning and execution of multiple internship programmes across EMEA throughout the year to ensure an excellent experience for the interns and to ensure the business is building the ‘best-in-class’ full-time talent pipeline
5. Manage interview and offer process for candidates applying for aligned locations / programmes
6. Ensure a consistent, structured process is followed and that interviewers are suitably trained to perform their role
7. Monitor and help drive the “sell” process for all candidates once an offer has been extended
8. Partner with the business on headcount and business planning to ensure hiring needs are met across business lines
9. Work with the business to highlight strong candidates on campus and ultimately develop and coach them throughout the process
10. Build relationships at key university career services and student societies to ensure GS is always represented in a positive and professional way
11. Work with team members from the cross-divisional recruiting team on projects such as off-cycle intern programming, intern performance review processes and process improvement ideas
12. Maintain and produce reports analysing key recruitment metrics and KPIs
13. Acquire expertise in global recruiting technology platforms
14. Keep abreast of trends in recruitment, market intelligence and competitor benchmarking

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED

15. Functional expertise: Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in a campus or early careers recruitment role, with a significant portion dedicated to recruiting for Investment Banking or a closely related financial services division.
16. Partnering with clients and colleagues: Solid communication and relationship management skills; client-facing and credible, with proven ability to influence and advise senior FICC & Equities stakeholders; strong negotiation skills; ability to develop robust internal and external relationships; ability to manage diverse stakeholders and to build networks quickly within a fast-paced financial environment.
17. Results-orientated: Ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered to clients.
18. Strong project management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities and project plan on an annual basis.
19. Excellent attention to detail, communication, data and analysis skills a must
20. Critical analysis, forward thinking; ability to foresee issues or the impact of emerging trends/patterns.
21. Strong team player: Ability to work effectively in a team with all levels.
22. Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment.
23. Must be fluent in English.

PREFERRED

24. Commercial awareness: Demonstrated ability to maximize ROI from recruitment efforts, particularly for Sales and Trading talent acquisition, and maintain sharp focus on annual recruiting priorities aligned with FICC & Equities’ strategic goals.
25. Broad and deep knowledge of the financial services industry, with a particular emphasis on the FICC & Equities Division's structure, roles, and competitive landscape.
