Job Description:
Our client is one of the leading TravelTech companies in the world.
They are looking for a senior/lead/principal engineer with architect experience to be the central force in building and scaling AI solutions across the business and for hundreds of APIs.
It is essential that you have proven experience building AI integrations at this scale, with hundreds of thousands of users per month.
This role can be 100% remote anywhere within Spain.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement system architecture: Design the overall structure, select technologies, outline data flow, and establish guidelines for components. Create strategies for scalability, data management, security, and disaster recovery.
2. Design architecture supporting AI innovation: Architect solutions for 90% AI-assisted case resolution, oversee AI and LLM integration to transform customer experience, and design seamless system integrations.
3. Align system, data, and infrastructure architecture: Coordinate with data and infrastructure teams to ensure systems are designed for seamless data flow, efficient processing, and infrastructure support.
4. Embrace and evaluate new technologies: Stay updated on new tech, assess their value, and guide their integration if aligned with organizational goals.
5. Collaborate and communicate: Work closely with developers, operations, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
6. Solve problems and troubleshoot: Identify issues, create lasting solutions, and promote a resilient technical environment.
Required Skills
* Experience implementing AI/LLM solutions in customer-facing environments, with software development and operations background. Travel industry experience is a plus.
* Hands-on experience with advanced LLM features such as Function Calling, API integrations, Vector Embeddings, semantic search, Prompt Engineering, and RAG.
* Experience with cloud-native environments and diverse system architectures.
* Proven ability to design scalable, resilient systems for large-scale development and maintenance.
* Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, with strong analytical skills and KPIs.
* Fluent English and excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly.
* Experience managing stakeholders across departments and mentoring teams.
