COPFS are currently engaged in a significant programme of structure transformation to support and deliver our strategic aims, to improve the experiences of women and children within the justice system; improve how we communicate with our customers and partners and the support we offer to the most vulnerable service users; achieve quicker conclusions to criminal and death investigations.
In the role of Group Head of Communications, you will be key to driving these changes and telling the story of the work and transformation being undertaken within COPFS.
As Group Head of Communications, you will operate at the centre of a critically positioned organisation within the justice sector, developing and leading a multi-faceted communications department including corporate, digital, media, reputation management, stakeholder engagement and internal communications. This complex environment requires a highly motivated individual with the skills and potential to develop and deliver the right strategic communications direction for COPFS.
You will use your skills to play a leading role in COPFS, being responsible for internal and external communications across the organisation. Working to build an effective communications strategy and annual communications plan linking directly with our strategic aims and ensuring an integrated approach to communications, along with stakeholder and public engagement with Scottish justice system partners.
As an expert in communications your advice and guidance will be key in acting as a trusted adviser to the Law Officers, Crown Agent, Senior Managers and employees across COPFS.
