About the role:

The Telesales Team Leader will lead, motivate, and manage a team of telesales representatives to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth for ’s in-person payment solutions. The focus is on the UK SMB market, particularly within retail, hospitality, and other fast-moving sectors. The Telesales Team Leader is responsible for driving performance through effective coaching, training, and data-driven decision-making.

More specifically, as a Direct Sales Team Leader, you will:

1. Lead the telesales team to achieve/exceed both individual and team KPI’s and sales revenue targets;
2. Develop and implement sales strategies and campaigns to drive performance;
3. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (, call volume, conversion rate, revenue);
4. Coach, mentor, and motivate team members through regular one-to-one sessions and performance reviews;
5. Conduct training sessions to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement skills;
6. Use CRM systems to track performance, manage pipelines, and generate sales reports;
7. Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment on lead generation and campaign execution;
8. Handle escalated customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally;
9. Identify underperformance and implement corrective action plans;
10. Recruit, onboard, and develop telesales staff to maintain a high-performing team culture;
11. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on performance trends and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

24. Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in leading outbound telesales processes;
25. Proven track record of sales achievement of leading successful telesales teams;
26. Experience in B2B sales, ideally selling to small businesses owners;
27. Familiarity with CRM and dialler systems (MS Dynamics, Genesys PureCloud or Similar).
