The role involves managing the implementation of a quality management system, ensuring its effectiveness in meeting business, statutory, legal, and contractual requirements. The candidate will engage with stakeholders to manage compliance, support business resilience, and enable change and improvement.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Delivering elements of an annual business plan on time and within budget
* Managing external certification audits
* Supporting achievement of new certifications
* Organizing and facilitating internal audits
* Leading audits and producing reports
* Investigating non-conformance root causes and recommending corrective and preventive measures
* Reviewing management system content for improvements
* Driving efficiency through new systems and processes
* Ensuring timely, accurate quality reports
* Producing communication materials
* Analyzing data for management reviews and providing insights
* Recommending actions to mitigate risks and improve systems
* Supporting business development with expertise and knowledge
* Developing and delivering training
* Monitoring supply chain performance and supporting suppliers
* Contributing to net zero carbon transition efforts
You’ll need to have:
* Knowledge of quality management systems and ISO9001 standards
* Strong analytical and reporting skills
* Understanding of management principles and operational controls
* Experience with tools and techniques in operational environments
* Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
* Experience in construction, consultancy, or facilities management industries
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and data analysis tools
* Excellent communication and customer focus
* Ability to work under tight deadlines individually and in teams
* Strong organizational skills and report writing capabilities
* Ability to influence senior management and manage stakeholders
* Resilience and effective meeting management skills
* Degree-level education or equivalent
* Formal auditor training and quality assurance experience
You’ll also have:
* Experience with digital control tools implementation
* Understanding of project controls, design, procurement, tendering, and delivery
* Knowledge of outsourced business models
* Ability to influence senior management
