Role: Bursary Administration Coordinator
Location: Cambridge & Huntingdon (full-time, permanent)
Salary: £24,107 – £25,983 per annum (Local Government Pension Scheme)
Hours: 37 per week (full year)
Are you an organised and compassionate administrator looking to make a difference in education? Join our dedicated Student Support Services team and help provide financial support for students at a leading Further Education college.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess bursary applications and verify documents.
2. Allocate funds accurately and maintain confidential records.
3. Work alongside the safeguarding team to review policies.
4. Provide reports on application trends and spend.
5. Deliver excellent service and build rapport with students from all backgrounds.
What We’re Looking For:
6. Strong administration and customer service experience.
7. GCSE English & Maths (or equivalent) required.
8. Confident using databases and bespoke IT systems.
9. Able to work across Cambridge and Huntingdon campuses (travel required).
10. Excellent communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
Desirable:
11. Experience in post-16 education.
12. Level 3 qualification in Business Administration.
13. Understanding of local support agencies for young people.
