An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse to Join the nursing team within the Intensive Care Unit within our Critical care Department at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital. Critical Care Department consists of 2 ICU’S and 2 HDU’S, Critical Care is busy, demanding and rewarding department to work within, dealing with patients undergoing heart and lung surgery, As well as looking after post-operative patients, Critical care also care for long term patients and Heart transplants. This offers excellent experience and learning in dealing with these challenging acute patients and unique opportunities for learning and professional and personal development. This vacancy demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Your personal qualities should include excellent organisation skills together with a positive approach and the ability to work effectively within the busy team. You should be able to demonstrate your commitment to ongoing personal and professional development and the ability to adapt to the diverse and variable demands of caring for patients within the Critical Care Department. The successful candidates will have variable working hours. There will also be opportunities to work across all 4 units within Critical Care.
