* Type: Full-Time / Permanent
* Bonus: Up to 10% Annual Bonus
Join our One Great Team here at Haven as an Activities & Pool Manager! Bring your leadership skills to the poolside, ensuring memorable swimming experiences and action-packed activities for guests.
In this role, you'll lead an energetic Activities & Leisure team, providing clear direction and motivation. You'll inspire your team, offer performance feedback, handle challenges, and support their development. Managing resources like budgets and tools will be essential. You'll also focus on delivering excellent guest experiences, improving interactions, and resolving issues, while ensuring safety, compliance, and adherence to policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver excellent service and achieve targets.
* Guest Experience: Ensure high guest satisfaction by addressing concerns and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
* Performance Management: Monitor performance, provide feedback, coaching, and conduct reviews.
* Resource Management: Oversee scheduling, budgets, and resources to maximize efficiency.
* Compliance and Safety: Ensure operations comply with health and safety regulations and standards.
* Problem Solving: Resolve operational issues promptly for smooth daily operations.
* Training and Development: Support team growth through ongoing training and mentoring.
Requirements
* Proven experience in roles such as Swimming Pool Manager, Activities & Leisure Manager, or similar leadership roles in Sports, Leisure, or Hospitality.
* PPO and SPTO certificates preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
* Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Experience in budgeting and financial management.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
This role requires undergoing and passing an Enhanced DBS check before starting.
