Are you a highly motivated and experienced housing professional with a passion for making a real difference in people's lives? Adur & Worthing Councils are seeking a dedicated Homelessness Prevention Team Leader to join our Housing Needs team.
About the role:
You will be responsible for directing and managing the Homelessness Prevention Team, fostering an innovative, outcome-focused, and multi-agency approach to prevent homelessness, providing housing advice and assessments, and ensuring statutory duties are met. The role includes leading prevention and relief of homelessness, conducting reviews of decisions, and representing the council at partner meetings. You will also coordinate out-of-hours emergency cases.
