The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Lead pre‑planned lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4
* Maintain a positive, organised and focused learning environment
* Uphold school behaviour policies and support classroom routines
* Supervise classes across a variety of subjects
* Offer additional support to students with SEN / additional needs where required
* Encourage engagement, participation and positive behaviour
This role provides a realistic, hands‑on introduction to teaching and secondary school life — perfect preparation for PGCE, teacher training or future TA roles.

The Ideal Candidate

* Experience working with secondary‑aged students (youth work, mentoring, tutoring, coaching, etc.)
* Confidence in managing a classroom setting
* The ability to support young people with additional or special educational needs
