As a Team Leader, you will lead a team of support workers to deliver person-centred support to individuals with a learning disability, that may display behaviours of distress and complex needs.
What the role involves
* Creating a safe, inclusive and person centred environment.
* Guiding and developing our Support Workers through regular supervisions.
* Managing rotas to make sure staffing levels are safe and covered.
* Supporting and updating care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour plans.
* Building relationships with the people we support and their support networks.
* Working with our HR and recruitment teams to meet the needs of the service.
* Keeping our service manager updated with regular communication.
* Supporting compliance by following policies, procedures, and regulations.
* Completing compliance checks with guidance from our service manager.
