Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Pharmacist - Gastroenterology based at University Hospital Crosshouse and Ayr.
What you will do:
The post holder will join our well-established multidisciplinary gastroenterology team to provide pharmaceutical care to gastroenterology patients, focusing on managing patients with inflammatory bowel disease. This role involves ongoing monitoring, review, and prescribing for outpatients, as well as providing clinical pharmacy services to the gastroenterology ward. With support from existing senior pharmacists, the post holder will manage their own cohort of patients. This position supports the development of gastroenterology services and offers an opportunity to gain experience in service redesign and evaluation.

Knowledge, training, and/or experience required:
The postholder must have a Master of Pharmacy degree or equivalent and be registered as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
