JOB TITLE: Online Sales Supervisor BASE: Speke DEPARTMENT: Retail REPORTING TO: Area Manager WORKING HOURS: 35 Hours per week CONTRACT: Permanent SALARY: £21,000 - £22,000 per annum (DOE) Overall purpose of the role: The Online Sales Supervisor is responsible for selling donated and new stock online to maximise profit for the Charity, whilst supervising the team and training new starters. Organise products in the warehouse, photograph, list and accurately describe online to advertise and sell. Package and dispatch items to customers. Main duties and responsibilities: Supervise and act as a role model to the online team and volunteers, ensuring set KPI’s and sales targets are met, and be the go-to person for assistance on day-to-day issues. Take responsibility for the training of new starters and volunteers. Support the implementation of online growth by assisting the introduction of new online platforms and increasing sales. Build and maintain strong relationships with the retail team, ensuring the “buy-in” to online sales from the retail shop managers. Effectively process stock, ensuring that accurate records are maintained and any discrepancies are logged and managed. Organise product storage in the warehouse in line with procedure. Photograph products with the use of a digital camera Research items online to ensure items are listed accurately, with the correct price, and associated search words. Catalogue and accurately list products ensuring all details are accurately displayed. Respond to customer queries on the telephone and online in a quick and efficient manner, in line with service level expectations. Ensure that the number of listings meet the agreed targets and are completed to a high standard. Ensure sold products are posted out to customers in an efficient manner, in line with agreed protocols to maximise income and minimise stock holding for the Charity. Support marketing campaigns, stock generation and sales promotions to increase sales. Ensure that any complaints received are correctly recorded and responded to in line with the agreed protocols and timelines. Support the E-Commerce Operations Manager in producing reports regarding sales, complaints and the profitability of the online shop Health and Safety Ensure that all health and safety procedures and regulations set out in the Health and Safety Policy and Handbook are followed PERSON SPECIFICATION Education Essential Minimum GCSE’s including Maths and English Experience Essential Extensive experience of selling on online platforms Strong experience of using computers for business and social purposes Knowledge of Health & Safety within the Retail sector. Experience of meeting set targets. Creative with merchandise. Desirable Gift Aid knowledge Photography experience Experience of supervising a team. Skills Essential Fast data entry skills, with a keen eye for detail Stock management in a small busy team Strong organisational and communication skills IT literate in Work and Excel Personal Attributes / Abilities Essential Ability to manage time with conflicting priorities.
