Alexander Lloyd or partnered with a reputable Pensions organisation based on the North East who are looking for a Pensions Officer to play a vital role in supporting the Pensions function through effective oversight, control, and risk management.
This role will be a 15 Month FTC with a possible chance of a Permanent role upon completion.
🔍 About the Role:
As a Pensions Officer, you will be instrumental in supporting the development and maintenance of governance and risk frameworks across the Pension area. This is a first-line role with a strong focus on control mechanisms, compliance, and continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and maintaining a robust controls monitoring programme.
* Identifying, escalating, and helping to mitigate risks in line with corporate risk policies.
* Acting as a liaison with the Risk team for incident reporting and follow-up.
* Supporting the preparation and submission of the annual Master Trust supervisory return.
* Ensuring ongoing compliance with Master Trust responsibilities.
* Coordinating the development, delivery, and publication of the annual AAF (01/20) internal control reports.
* Reviewing and validating Systems and Processes questionnaire responses to ensure accuracy and relevance.
* Serving as the main contact between external auditors and the Benefits area during audits.
