We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join a specialist school in Winchester from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position, working with primary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs, including SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties), Autism, and Physical Disabilities.
About the Role:
* Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and personalised lessons that meet the needs of learners with complex SEND.
* Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
* Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that fosters progress, independence, and confidence.
* Adapt teaching strategies to support a wide range of learning styles and needs.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential).
* Experience or strong interest in working within a SEND setting (ideally with SLD, PMLD, Autism, and/or Physical Disabilities).
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Patience, creativity, and a commitment to inclusive education.
