What you will do Manage a caseload of looked after children, undertaking statutory visits, assessments, and reviews in line with the Children Act 1989 and associated guidance. Develop and progress care plans, including permanence planning such as reunification, long-term fostering, or adoption, ensuring plans are outcome-focused and regularly reviewed. Act as the child's lead professional, coordinating multi-agency input and working closely with carers, education, and health partners. Prepare high-quality reports for statutory reviews and court proceedings, providing evidence-based recommendations. Person Specification Qualifications Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent). Completion of Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) or equivalent experience. Registration & Compliance Registered with Social Work England. Sound knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and 2004, Care Planning Regulations 2010, and Working Together to Safeguard Children guidance.
