Pay: GBP 50,000 : GBP 55,000

About your new Engineering Manager role
A leading service organisation is seeking a EngineeringManager to lead a high:performing technical support team of engineers (HGV), both office:based and field:based. This role is pivotal in ensuring quality service delivery, technical excellence, and strong customer relationships.
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for
: Lead and manage a team of HGV support specialists, delivering effective 1:1s, performance reviews, and personal development plans.
: Oversee all technical queries from field engineers, ensuring prompt, accurate support and resolution.
: Drive quality assurance and ensure health and safety compliance across all operations.
: Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive site visits and support.
: Support the service team in resolving technical issues and delivering outstanding customer service.
: Identify opportunities for process improvement and staff training through data analysis.
: Ensure all maintenance and repairs follow manufacturer guidelines and internal procedures.
: Collaborate cross:functionally with internal departments on key projects and service initiatives.
Experience required for Engineering Manager role
: Proven experience in managing engineering support teams.
: Proven automotive/fleet industry experience, on or off highway
: Strong leadership and coaching skills with a focus on performance development.
: Experience in customer relationship management, ideally in automotive or fleet sectors.
: Excellent communication, decision:making, and problem:solving abilities.
: A data:driven mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
: A full UK driving licence is required.
