Due to increasing workload, they are currently looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for their Scotland offices. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects across renewables, transportation, industrial, retail, residential, and commercial sectors.
Job Description
* Data collection, manipulation, and interpretation of geotechnical and geo-chemical data for site investigations across various schemes.
* Preparation of Geotechnical Desk Studies, Interpretative Reports, and Specifications.
* Design, procurement, and supervision of site investigations.
* Conduct geotechnical analyses and design, including slope stability, settlement assessments, foundations, and retaining walls.
* Manage multiple projects efficiently.
* Provide management and technical oversight to junior team members.
* Prepare fee proposals and contribute to tenders.

Qualifications/Experience
* Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology.
* Experience in designing, specifying, and managing ground investigation works.
* Proven geotechnical design experience in accordance with UK Eurocodes within multidisciplinary projects.
* Experience in shallow and deep foundations, piling, earthworks, slope stability, and retaining walls.
* Preparation of geotechnical reports, including desk studies, ground investigation reports, and geotechnical design reports.
* Ability to prepare specifications and drawings for construction.
* Proficiency with geotechnical design software, such as OASYS or equivalent.
* Experience in preparing fee estimates and tender submissions.
* Mentoring and training junior staff.
Advantageous Skills
* MSc in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology.
* Hydrogeological modelling experience.
* GIS experience.
* Holebase experience.
Ideally approaching or recently chartered (CEng or CGeol), with a flexible, enthusiastic attitude, capable of delivering challenging projects and supporting junior staff development.
