East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) has a vision to be the most loved charity shop in our community. We operate 50 shops (and growing) with a strong online presence. OUR Style with EACH recently won the Third Sector Award’s ‘Best use of social media’ 2022. Income from our shops and online platforms funds children and families during their time of need.
For aspiring Shop Managers & Area Managers we offer a structured, competency-based development tool focused on developing confidence and skills across online, internal and external training. From driving retail vans to conducting shop maintenance, it takes a team effort to deliver a successful retail operation. Role details
Shop Manager, Milton Road, Cambridge CB4 1XE
Full-time 37.5 hours per week, 5 days over a 6 day week. Mandatory weekend working on a rotational basis. Permanent contract. Salary £26,340 per annum.

Responsibilities
* Recruit and motivate a team of volunteers to maximise sales and generate income to support the work of EACH.
* Influence and increase sales and productivity.
* Lead and manage shop operations to deliver excellent customer service and community engagement.
Qualifications & experience
* Passionate about customer service and building community support for the charity.
* Enthusiastic Manager with previous retail experience.
* Strong leadership skills and commercial awareness.
* Proven success in achieving sales targets.
* Hands-on approach with ability to recruit and motivate a team of volunteers.
* Experience of working with volunteers is an advantage; high street retail experience is also suitable.
* Regular weekend work is required as this is a retail post.
