We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Ware-based team to work in the R&D pilot plant space. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in advancing innovative solutions within GSK’s engineering and manufacturing operations. You will lead technical projects, solve complex challenges, and contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality products. Collaboration is at the heart of this role—you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, external partners, and stakeholders to drive impactful results. In this role you will
* Lead technical projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
* Solve complex engineering challenges using innovative approaches and data-driven decision-making.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimise manufacturing processes.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all engineering activities.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, driving efficiency across operations.
* Provide technical expertise and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
Qualifications & Skills
* BSc or equivalent and ideally working towards chartership.
* Experience working in a GMP Pharmaceutical environment.
* Audit experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
* Experience of matrix leadership.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
* Automation or Electrical Engineering background.
* Experience working in the OSD manufacturing space.
* Experience leading teams and direct reports.
