Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey.
Problem statement: Due to the work being undertaken across the patch is through different alliance partnerships, there is a tendency for overlapping work (digging up two sides of a village and closing off both main roads in and out), multiple disruptions (complete one job for one alliance on a main street in a town, a few days later, dig up the main street again). The role AWS is looking for is someone to act as an interface manager to coordinate and traffic control the work. The person would have to work across the different alliances to pull out their plans and then build a map of who is doing what and then build a system of what needs to be done to manage it. This is a big ask and isn't just one role as the client is expecting it to be but needs someone to assess and size up the work, convince the client of the resource need and then resource it. I'd like the person doing the assessment to be retained on the pitch going forward and build a team around them.
