A well-establishedLondon-based organisation within the consultancy sector is seeking a temporary Office Assistant to support its office. The business is recognised for delivering high-quality, client-focused services and maintaining a professional and collaborative environment. This is a part time role- 3 days per week Tuesday-Thursday.
Your new role
This is a hands-on, varied office support position where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office. You will act as a central point of contact for employees, visitors, and suppliers while supporting wider business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Office & Front of House
1. Act as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a professional and weing experience
2. Manage meeting rooms, bookings, diaries, and associated logistics
3. Coordinate appointments and liaise with clients and stakeholders
Operations & Facilities
4. Liaise with building management, contractors, and service providers
5. Ensure office supplies, kitchen stock, and refreshments are maintained
6. Manage office deliveries, post, and supplier accounts
7. Support health and safety processes and report any issues
Administration & Coordination
8. Provide general administrative support across the business
9. Organise catering for meetings and events
10. Assist with onboarding new starters and supporting leaver processes
11. Maintain building access passes and office security records
12. Prepare and distribute internalmunications
Wider Support
13. Support office and staff engagement events
14. Coordinate stationery and business card orders across locations
15. Assist with basic IT queries and liaise with technical teams
16. Support expense administration, including travel expenses where required
What you'll need to succeed
17. Previous experience in an office support, administrative, or facilities role
18. Strong organisational and multitasking skills
19. Excellent communication skills with a professional and approachable manner
20. Confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders
21. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
22. A proactive, flexible, and service-driven approach
23. Ability to work effectively in a fully office-based environment
