Together, we help pupils with complex needs - including sensory, physical, medical, and communication challenges - to access learning, build trust, and experience joy every day. What the Role Involves: As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide vital support to children with the most complex needs. Every day is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference: One-to-one and small-group support in the classroom to help pupils engage with learning. Assisting pupils with personal care, including toileting and changing. Supporting children with mobility and physical needs, including wheelchair transfers and the safe use of hoists (training will be provided). Helping to deliver sensory-based learning activities, designed around each child's individual plan. Working closely with teachers, therapists, and medical staff to ensure every child is safe, comfortable, and included in their learning journey.
