A leading housing provider is seeking a Disrepair Surveyor to manageplex disrepair cases and ensurepliance with Awaab’s Law. You’ll oversee contractor performance, and act as the key liaison for disrepair queries, ensuring emergency hazards are resolved within the relevant SLA hours.
Your new role
1. Manage disrepair claims and ensurepliance with legal protocols
2. Supervise and support a small team of officers
3. Liaise with contractors, internal teams, and customers to resolve issues
4. Monitor KPIs, contractor performance, and value-for-money checks
5. Ensure adherence to Health & Safety and Ombudsmanplaint standards
6. Drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
What you'll need to succeed
7. Strong knowledge of Disrepair Protocol and housing legislation
8. Experience in property maintenance and managing legal disrepair claims
9. Excellentmunication, negotiation, and customer service skills
10. Ability to work to strict deadlines and managepeting priorities
11. IT proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
12. Flexible approach, including occasional evening meetings
