Job title: Scrub Nurse
Location: Oxford
Salary: £20 - £22 P/H
The role
1. Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment
2. Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilised and organised
3. Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies during procedures
4. Maintain a count of all surgical instruments and supplies to prevent discrepancies
5. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and assist as required
6. Follow strict aseptic techniques to minimise the risk of infection
7. Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment
8. Assist with patient positioning and draping
9. Document and maintain accurate records of surgical procedures
10. Stay up-to-date on best practices in surgical nursing and sterilisation procedures
