Product Design Engineering Specialist - Mechanical CAD (Creo) Location: Darlington (Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Start: ASAP We are currently recruiting two Product Design Engineering Specialists to support our clients ongoing engineering programmes at a major manufacturing site in Darlington. This is a hybrid initial 6 month temporary contract role, offering a strong blend of hands-on engineering ownership and cross-functional collaboration. The Role You will lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems, taking ownership from concept through to detailed design and validation. This is a product-focused role requiring strong CAD capability and the ability to work independently with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier stakeholders. You'll be responsible for developing optimized mechanical designs that balance performance, cost, weight, durability, manufacturability, and serviceability, while clearly communicating design intent through structured design reviews.
