Job Description
3. Running 3 weekly payrolls and 1 monthly payroll
4. Processing holiday requests
5. Input and manage sickness absence
6. Monthly reports such as employee movements and starters and leavers
7. Inputting new starters & leavers on to the payroll system
8. Timesheet input for both weekly and monthly payrolls
9. Reconciliation of payrolls
10. Assist with yearly salary review process
11. Processing sickness and statutory payments
12. Wage reconciliations for both weekly and monthly payroll for the Accounts department
13. Process commissions, bonuses, overtime and expenses for both weekly and monthly payroll
14. Housekeeping of payroll documentation and reports
15. Keeping Standard Operating Procedures up to date
16. Distribution of pay slips
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Assistant should have:
17. Prior experience in a similar payroll position.
18. Knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
19. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
20. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
21. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other related software.
22. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
