Description
We are currently recruiting a skilled and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver & privide training on HIAB to join our team. Working with our client in Eastleigh, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of materials to residential and commercial sites using a lorry-mounted crane (HIAB). This is a customer-facing role and ideal for a driver who takes pride in safety, punctuality, and excellent service. Competitive Pay | Immediate Start Temp to perm position with a salary of £35k. Own transport required to get to assignments. Key Responsibilities
1. Operate HIAB vehicle to deliver building materials to various sites.
2. Hiab experience at least 6 months preferred
3. HGV Driving experience at least 2 years preferred
4. Load and unload using the lorry-mounted crane (brick grab or hook) - once trained and certificated
5. Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with all transport legislation
6. Maintain accurate delivery paperwork
7. Represent the company professionally at all times
Requirements
8. Valid UK HGV Licence
9. HIAB Certificate (brick grab and/or hook) will be trained
10. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
11. Minimum 6 months HIAB experience preferred not essential
12. Good knowledge of local roads and delivery procedures·
13. Reliable, punctual and well-presented
