We’re looking for a Mechanical Workshop Technician based in our Dumbarton Manufacturing Facility.

What you’ll do:
6. Fault Finding/Repair of diesel generators
7. Load testing of generators 20-2000KVA
8. Major engine repairs and overhauls
9. Assess genset condition on returning fleet to SRC
10. Modification/upgrades to genset fleet
11. Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems
12. Knowledge of engine ECM programming/diagnostics would be advantageous
13. Programming of control modules
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
14. Technical capability (Power)
15. Strong Mechanical background
16. A City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent
17. Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications
18. Well organised and capable of keeping vehicle to GSCS standards
19. Able to manage a client’s expectations when under pressure
