Job Description
This self-delivering developer is looking for a Commercial / Operations Director to take the lead and have oversight across their entire development pipeline, being responsible for costings, feasibility, delivery and overall P&L for their projects and ventures.
Based in Preston in the office each day, you’ll be tasked with making sure all the processes and stages of the development cycle are all pulled together to make a coherent business plan. From site acquisition, through design, planning approval, on-site project delivery and handover, you’ll be overseeing Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, Contracts Managers and more to ensure the teams are all pulling in the same direction and delivering a high-quality finished building for the end user.
You need to come from either a Quantity Surveyor or Construction background with experience of leading teams and projects, understand all of the various stages in any construction development, and be able to see the bigger picture and smaller detail at all times. You also need to live within commuting distance of Preston.
Salary is commensurate with experience, likely c£90k - £120k + Bonuses upon completion of each project.
