What you’ll be doing as a TA in Wallasey
* Supporting teachers in delivering engaging, motivating and inclusive lessons across different year groups.
* Encouraging pupils to stay on task, grow in confidence and participate positively in classroom activities.
* Providing 1:1 or small-group support, helping children make progress academically, socially and emotionally.
* Using positive behaviour strategies to maintain a calm and welcoming learning environment.
* Assisting with classroom organisation, preparing resources, updating displays and supporting daily routines.
* Helping pupils with additional needs feel fully included, ensuring everyone can access learning at their own pace.
* Following safeguarding procedures and keeping pupil wellbeing at the centre of everything you do.
